Produce a one-page FigJam board that frames the problem your running project may grow from. (You can change problems in Week 5 — but most learners keep this one, so choose something you care about.)
Required sections
- The problem statement — person + need + why, one tight paragraph. No solutions.
- Who exactly — 3–5 bullet points describing the person with this problem (their context, not demographics for their own sake).
- How Might We — 3–5 HMW questions at brainstormable altitude, each opening a different door.
- Assumptions — at least 5, honestly stated ("I assume they own smartphones", "I assume this happens weekly"). Mark the 2 riskiest with a stamp — those become next week's research questions.
- Evidence so far — anything real you already know: your own experience, a conversation, an observation. It's fine if this section is thin; Week 2 fills it.
Craft bar (graded from day one)
- Sections labeled, stickies aligned, one idea per sticky.
- A title block: project name, your name, date.
- Readable at a glance by someone who wasn't in your head.

Next week you'll test this framing against reality — two real humans will tell you whether the problem you framed is the problem they have.
